storage and maintenance
1. The purpose of storage and maintenance is to prevent the valve from being damaged or degraded during storage. In fact, improper storage is one of the important causes of damage.
2. The storage should be well organized, the small ones should be placed on the shelves, and the large ones should be neatly placed on the floor of the warehouse, and should not be stacked at will. Do not let the flange connection surface touch the ground. This is not only for aesthetics, but to prevent damage.
3. These unnecessary losses should be avoided due to incorrect storage and handling, hand wheel damage, valve stem collision, loose and lost fixing nut between hand wheel and valve stem, etc.
4. If not used for a short time, the asbestos filler should be removed to avoid electrochemical corrosion and stem damage.
5. For those who have just entered the warehouse, they should be checked. If rain or dirt is received in transit, it should be wiped clean before storage.
6. The import and export should be sealed with wax paper or plastic plate to prevent dirt from entering.
7. For those workpieces that may rust in the atmosphere, the work surface should be coated with anti-rust oil to protect it.
8. If it is placed outdoors, it must be covered with rain and dustproof items such as linoleum or tarpaulin. Keep the warehouse clean and dry.
Use and maintain
1. The purpose of maintenance is to prolong the service life of the valve and ensure reliable opening and closing.
2. Stem threads often rub on the stem nut. It should be lubricated with a little yellow dry oil or graphite powder.
3. For infrequent opening and closing, the handwheel should also be rotated regularly, and lubricant should be added to the valve stem thread to prevent bites.
4. A protective cover should be added outdoors to prevent rain, snow, dust and rust.
5. Keep it clean often.
6. Always check and maintain the integrity of other components. If the fixing nut of the handwheel falls off, it must be matched and cannot be used together, otherwise the four sides of the upper part of the valve stem will be ground and gradually lose the reliability of cooperation, or even become inoperable.
7. Do not rely on the valve to support other heavy objects. Don't stand on it.
