3. It is not suitable for high temperature and high pressure pipeline system, generally used for ≦80℃, ≦1.0Mpa crude oil, oil, water and other media.
4. Since the butterfly valve has a relatively large pressure loss relative to the gate valve and the ball valve, the butterfly valve is suitable for the pipeline system where the pressure loss requirements are not strict.
5. It is suitable for selection in pipelines that require flow regulation.
6. Butterfly valves are suitable for occasions requiring fast opening and closing
7. Usually in throttling adjustment control and mud medium, short structure length, fast opening and closing speed, low pressure cut-off (small pressure difference) are recommended to use butterfly valve
8. In the case of two-position adjustment, constricted channel, low noise, gasification phenomenon, a small amount of leakage to the atmosphere, and corrosive medium, butterfly valve can be selected.
When using butterfly valves under special conditions such as throttling adjustment, strict sealing requirements, serious wear, low temperature (cryogenic), etc., special butterfly valves with triple eccentricity or double eccentricity with specially designed metal sealing adjustment device should be used.
